A couple of weeks ago, I was watching The Middle and noticed Brick was wearing a "Wrinkle in Time" t-shirt - a movie that ABC/Disney is releasing in 2018. It was relatively subtle product placement for their own product.

But, damn this star wars episode was just too much. Half the episode was an in-your-face promo for the star wars movie hidden behind the flimsiest excuse. I bet we never see the India character again either, despite the fact that somebody like that coming in to JJ's life should be a huge deal.

I have a feeling that with Disney buying 20th Century Fox this kind of crap is only going to get worse.
