I like it, this guy is way more athletic than Jack.

Having terrorism encounter the American drug / gang scene is interesting and fresh.

24 without Jack is not 24. i didn´t even bother. they should at least make a tv movie for a ending of Jack.

Then why are you here?

simply because I can. "Opinions so far". take a chill pill.

Just wondering. And getting some activity here.

Its alright I guess its nice to see 24 from a new perspective, I still miss Jack tho.

Jack is now 51 years old. And he started in SD. With the switch to HD and hitting middle age, he's no longer field agent material. But we've been conditioned to seeing 50+ year old James Bonds. Maybe he'll have a cameo of being rescued or something at some point.

I'm a big 24 fan and thought there was no way the show could go on without Jack Bauer but I'm loving Legacy so far. It feels like 24, and like Kiefer said, the format is the star of the show.

This is one of those shows where you need to check your blood pressure before, during, and after you watch it. It's action packed and suspenseful.

It's a good 24 fix. Obviously it's not the same without Jack, but after such a long break from 24 and assuming it may never be on again, I think this was the right time to bring in a new lead and keep the story going.

Overall I am just happy the show is back on, and still has the 24 feel after the first few episodes.

I plan to watch the first episode but I am not sure if its day is done.

I like it, not impressed in any way but good enough.

I think for those who have seen 24 when it came out in 2002 it is difficult to feel the same shock, exhilaration, etc. they felt when this series with a completely new concept burst onto their TV screens. I have the special edition box with series 1 to 6, and watching them 15 years after the first time leaves me slightly unimpressed. Maybe it only really works, when you haven't seen it before?

Definitely.

Yea the format forcing things along, 1 hour deadlines, are no longer a surprise. Once they've used the format to introduce the characters, not a bad idea to shed the real time-ness and focus on the plot.
