讨论 13 Reasons Why

I really thought he was going to start another columbine and that would have been extremely lame.

Maybe season 2 will be Tyler and his high school massacre.

You may be right. I think at the least it could be flashbacks to the events of how Alex was shot and whether he survives.

I think you're right about season 2. Something tells me that Tyler will have his own 13 reasons.

Yeah, I think it's laid out perfectly for a sequel. A sequel probably no one wants. He's clearly going to shoot some bitches. Everyone but Alex, you can tell because he took his picture off the line at the end because he remembered Alex stuck up for him.

Good call, I forgot about the photos that seemed like his hit list.

I thought he took Alex's picture off of the wall because he already shot himself.

I don't think so. Right before he took the picture off the line they flashed back to the part where Alex stuck up for him. I don't think they did that for no reason.

I agree with you on all counts. That's why he took the pic down. And I agree it's a sequel "no one wants." Honestly the mass shooting thing is getting old. And I don't say that "glibly" at all. I was at a university where one of those happened and even though it's very sadly becoming almost "expected/norm" in American society....I just feel like when shows/movies/whatever within the past five or so years go this route, it's kind of a predictable easy choice for shock value or some crap, but it doesn't work for me. It used to really bother me and now just makes me sigh, roll my eyes and want to turn the show off. I'm not sure the "outcast kid who shoots ppl up after getting bullied" trope needs to be reiterated so many times. That helps almost glorify it and I think (hope) by now we know somewhat the kinds of things that can cause someone to do this without needing our faces rubbed in it in every teen drama now. Yes, usually very angry, lonely, bitter, depressed people who feel the world has wronged them somehow resort to this. So stop using it for cheap emotional melodrama/shock in shows and actually help with the schools, mental health systems, continuums of care, proper gun control/safety in the homes, parenting, anti-bullying, etc ad infinitum.

well that was a mini-rant I wasn't expecting to go on
