I think the series should have ended when Billy sacrificed his life to kill that monster that was controlling him. The scene in the mall where all of them were fighting that huge beast and throwing explosives at it was the climax of the show. The show was good but like anything good or bad it has to end sometime. Dragging this on would just lower the quality of the show, which has happened with pretty much a lot of shows.
