After watching season 2 I didn't want to say goodby to the series and characters immediately so I found it very comforting to see these discussions and behind-the-screen talks. They should do that more often, with other shows as well!
Beyond Stranger Things is enjoyable. And if you watch, you will see two moments of mild tension between the kids and the Duffer Brothers. You can see why the brothers were held back in kindergarten for not being good at socializing. The two I remember were when the kids exaggerated the number of days a specific shoot lasted and then when the kid who plays Dustin tries to take credit for starting Season 2 in an arcade. It went something like, "Oh the arcade was your idea? Oh ok. Great idea. (eyeroll)" You can hear the snarkiness in his voice along with a dismissive/annoyed facial expression. Hahaha, I found it quite amusing.

Yeah, the Duffers give that impression of kids who never entirely grew up. People like that tend to be good at creative endeavors but occasionally immature in social situations. For the most part though, it seems like everyone on set got along and had fun together. These discussions seemed entirely unscripted and unstaged. I liked that. You got some real insight into how things worked behind the scenes that many of the slickly produced "Making Of" featurettes seem to lack.

There was a very natural vibe to the discussions for sure. We also learned which actors have wacky accents in real life.

Well it always helps to have a dean of a community college running things.
Yep. Loved the show so much I'm ashamed to admit I watched most of the beyond. Some things annoyed me about the show but for the most part it was fun. I hope the Duffers can keep it going. This is a special series. They don't come along like often. This is the highest quality series to date in my opinion.
