Since we are attempting to start new topics, I happened to just listen to the soundtrack for this show. I love synthwave stuff and think it was really good. Any other synthwave fans out there?

Very nice. I've heard a bit by Miami Nights. Try Pertubator too. Great stuff! I also love pretty much all of John Carpenter's soundtracks!
