It was a real treat that this series' powers-that-be expanded Season 3 to be 8 episodes, after each of the two prior seasons were 6 episodes apiece.

This show remains as delightful and charming as ever, with lots of humour, but also heart.

I was disappointed by certain developments of near the end of the season finale, that left the ending (as in the final ten or so minutes) feeling rather unsatisfying. In fact the ending came off seeming like potentially a conclusion of the overall series (not solely of Season 3). Fortunately, it was a relief to find, online, that this terrific series has ordered a 4th season. (Per Wikipedia: "A fourth series was announced by ITV on 22 June 2018, with filming scheduled for later in the year.") Hooray!
