Yeah Pope becoming normal was a major flaw in the first few episodes of the 2nd season. They've seemed to have dropped his whole psychotic bipolar personality.

But midway through its definitely picked up and having Jay caught between his uncles and smurf definitely adds something. Think they really need to kill off a main character to make things more interesting...

I agree the first few shows were very boring but it has picked up somewhat. I would like to see them pulling more heist and less of the boring dialogue and less Smurf ( I'm sorry, but I do not like the character or the actress). The church heist was cool albeit wrong but was pretty nice seeing them pull it off the way they did. Pope's storyline is yet another example of poor writing if you ask me. As for as someone needing to be killed off, I know I would never get my choice of who goes (SMURF) so I'll say Craig, he's pretty useless.

One more thing, what is the purpose of the little teenager girl? Maybe she should be killed off b/c she's sooo freaking annoying and pointless to the show.

I don't think Pope was ever "becoming normal"- the show just focused less on his his whole psychotic bipolar personality, but he still has it and you can tell by his constant crazed expressions and that mean death glare. That said IMO Pope still has the most sense out of all of the men, Baz is still trying to prove a point to and please Smurf, Craig is busy acting like a teen and only interested in getting high and going off half co cked ALL the time, and Deran, even though he is trying to run his bar right, lets Craig manipulate him way too much. Jay is still young and has a lot to learn- that said he still acts more mature than Craig. The heists they pull are too intricate, over the top and out of their league (they act as though they are the cast of Now You See Me).

I totally agree with you. Nikki needs to be gone.

I don't think Pope is normal...not by a long shot. He might be trying to do normal things, but you can see his struggle with it.

And WTF is Nikki still there?

Yeah Nikki should have been cut from this season (she's hardly been in it anyway)...

As for Pope, the first season did a good job showing the two sides of him. This season they've kinda glossed over that he needs pills to keep him sane. He's been made more likeable and yes, normal. In other words, get him off the meds!!
