Debate My 600-lb Life

Another good episode. I like the "where are they now" episodes. I'm so proud of Dr.Now for putting Sean's mom in her place. She seems to be a know it all. I definitely think she has Munchausen or some mental disorder. Wonder why the show didn't update what was physically wrong with her at the end. Perhaps she was seeking attention??

Brittani was inspiring! Her story was really enjoyable to watch. She is going to be tiny. She looks beautiful! I would love to see an update in a few more years. Its always interesting to see if they maintained their weight loss. It would also be nice to know whether they were able to have children.

I watched the Supersized episode tonight. I also wondered why they didn't explain what happened with Sean's mother. Although, something I learned is how they got their groceries and other things if the person was left alone like Sean. I see that a medical assistance showed up in a taxi and took him to the store. Maybe they did that with the other lady a few months back, I think her name was Kristen, when her mother went back to Washington and left her and her grandson in Houston alone.

Brittani has a wonderful attitude and personality. She looks and sounds a bit like the late Margaux Hemingway. She'd look more like her if she was 5'10", LOL. I actually thought they probably married 20 years ago (I didn't see her first episode) but tonight they said she got married 6 years ago. She must've been quite big when they met and married.

I too thought they were married much longer than that. I did see the original episode but don't remember what was said. The supersize show is good. It gives a lot of extra information. I was trying to figure out who she reminded me of. She does look like Margaux! I like the "surgerversary" celebration!

Interesting the supersize episode didn't mention Sean's mother either. Something is strange about that because she was such a big part of his story. Maybe she asked for privacy??

I do think the show provides them with transportation and caretakers or at least help them get those things. There has to be some type of motivation for these people to uproot their lives (other than weight loss of course).

I wondered because remember in Lupe and Gilbert's episode when he would walk down the Interstate to the supermarket struggling to carry all the groceries back to the motel or apartment? I'm curious why they didn't hire a taxi and an aid for them. A lot of people were questioning that at the time. Maybe it's only done for the patient and if an abled bodied person is with them they don't offer any assistance.

I really liked Brittani! Her story has been one of my favorites.
