In season 5, Vice President Eli Newton was bitten by Violet. Sometime after that, the dark lord shoots this energy wave that causes those turned into vampires. As far as I remember, the ones that turned back can't turn back into vampires (like Exel).
So why was the vice president turned if he was bitten? Because he was not a vampire before? That would be a strange logic. Did I just discover a fail...?
