'SPOILERS..dah' now after the daughter's story played out?
I do enjoy this show. Don't get the low ratings. But where can it go after the last episode? Still, points to the writers for being unpredictable. The whole last episode i had the feeling it must go there but thought 'it's a syfy show, they don't have the balls to kill off characters like TWD, especially if it's the main character's one and only motivation'.

I don't think they were expecting to get a second season and had trouble writing themselves out of the season ending cliffhanger.

I'm sure glad they did get a second season. I thought this would be pretty terrible and was hooked after about 3-4 episodes in Season 1. Digging season 2 so far and how they are expanding the mythos and the world they're in. I actually like that they focus on different characters at times as it really fleshes everybody out. This show has a lot more going for it than the traditional throwaway SyFy crapola. I do enjoy how characters come around again like people tend to do in real life like Doc running into Josie? again (Woman who caught her stealing blood).

[ Spoilers - look away now if you haven't watched Season 2 !!! ]
I figured she just wasn't going to be able to turn Dylan back. Once she did ... I mean let's face it, what are you going to do with a regular teenage girl tagging along with Vanessa and company? Am I the only one who's suspicious of the other little girl? The one who somehow keeps surviving on her own and popping up again and again. She's at their first refuge. Then she shows up at that resistance camp. Then she just happens to walk out of the woods with a balloon and a map, repairs a broken shortwave radio and gives out their exact coordinates to someone with a helicopter.
I wonder if Muhammad cuts Sam down, or lets him die? Sam is definitely the most entertaining villain on the show. Even though Vanessa really needs to make sure he's dead, you know you're going to miss him if he's really gone for good. Maybe we'll get to see Sam and Muhammad traveling the countryside together in Season 3. Wouldn't that be interesting? And what did the Elder do to Vanessa? Was he just healing her, or did her eyes flashing red like that mean she's gone over to the dark side?

Unexpected too. You sorta figured he'd be around for the duration. That Elder is incredibly strong and fast, Scarlett better remember what he said about not forgiving her when his bond of obedience is released.

Nope, she gives me the keeps too. One weird kid...
Looks like he added yet another power to her. Having the Elder under their control is the ultimate gift. Next Scarlett should make him do macarena dance and send him after Sam.

But you know The Elder will do everything he can within that bond to trip them up. They should find out what his oath of loyalty said, the exact words, because he'll twist them - and he certainly won't volunteer any vital information he isn't asked for. They can never completely trust him.

Looks like they keep playing with Scarlett taking over the series. Last season they let Scarlett solo half the episodes and then kill off Vanessa. I thought Vanessa was gone for good, but she returned to this season, and not they're setting her up to be killed again. If she dies and comes back again next season, she's gonna be a Kenny joke.
