I've only seen a few episodes but one that I saw on Wednesday Jazz kept saying how horrible and embarrassing it must be to have people call you out as a male, or misgender you. She has said this in front of Noelle knowing that happens to her. That does lead me to believe this show is heavily scripted and Jazz needs a transgender friend, so along comes Noelle. I don't think in real-life she would ever be around her and she practically comes out and says it from what I've seen.
I'm also fairly certain that Noelle, and everyone else that participates in the show is getting paid, so I think for them it's mostly a job because when you think about what other kind of job could Noelle get without being openly harassed by people everyday. She said that even happens at her school.

She said that because the electrolysis stumbled on what to call Noelle.
I don't think the show is heavily scripted. In regards to Jazz needing a trans friend, this was what her mother said, and the mom found Noelle and her mom.
I think you're right. However, looking at Jazz's social media, she is truly a hermit. The only friend post was way back in January, and it wasn't with Noelle. With that said, I don't see Jazz and Noelle as having too much in common other than the trans issue.
Yes, pretty much every regular on reality TV gets an appearance fee. As many times Noelle has been on the show, I'm sure she is. However, I don't this is just is a job for Noelle. She is there for a purpose to support the cause and be trans friend for Jazz. This was pretty much forced upon Jazz by her mom. In this clip, you'll be able to tell that Noelle met the mom before Jazz, which is not a secret, since they mentioned it on the show.

Thank you. I didn't know exactly how they met. I only saw a few of the entire episodes and then some clips on YouTube.
It was sad what Noelle said last night that she transitioned three years ago but still would never go into the women's restroom for fear of what might happen. Although, I've known some transsexuals that are bigger and more masculine than her and they use the women's restroom. I don't really know if they ever have, or had, any problems because it isn't something they would ever admit to even if they did, LoL.
I did wonder what Noelle does when she has to go to the restroom, if she holds it in or possibly has a luggable loo she carries around with her in her car (I'm not sure if she drives, though) like campers would use or people who are forced to live in their car. I do believe that's why a lot of male-to-females never transition because of the hassle and humiliation of it. I've known some from 20 and 25 years ago who still live as (heterosexual) males.

In California, it is the law that the single restrooms be unisex. I went two restaurants that changed the signs to unisex, when before they were titled men/women rooms.

Last night with Jazz on the Tomi Lahren show I think Jazz should have said that she's only speaking for herself and not every trans person. because some do claim they weren't aware they actually felt female until they were 50 or so. Until then they thought they were simply heterosexual crossdressers. That isn't Jazz's story at all and I'm surprised Tomi didn't corner her on it and ask, "If all transgenders are like you, then how come Caitlyn Jenner was married 3 times and fathered five kids? It certainly wasn't because she didn't have the money to do it years ago. Would you want to have sex with women and father children like Caitlyn did? Okay, you do understand why people might think you're a pervert by going into the girl's restroom don't you?"
If I were Jazz I would've said people transition for different reasons and she is speaking only for herself and her own experience, and she won't talk about Caitlyn or anyone else. Although, as I truly believe, this show is scripted for effect and ratings.

Of course it is! All of these "reality" shows are scripted to some degree. If they weren't, imagine how boring and repetitive they would be.

Caitlyn Jenner said he knew something was different about him in elementary school. His high school sweetheart and first wife knew he was trans. Here is a bit from her Diane Sawyer interview.
@Stand*Chickie "If I were Jazz I would've said people transition for different reasons and she is speaking only for herself and her own experience, and she won't talk about Caitlyn or anyone else. "
Was Jazz asked about Caitlyn? I must have missed that, but if this was asked, Jazz is still a child. She is not going to have all the right answers and neither or adults. LOL.

Exactly, that's why I rarely watch it. I only saw part of 'Dating in the Dark' and they act as if these guys didn't know who was sitting in the dark. Oh PLEEZE! That 'reality show' ~ "There's Something About Miriam" ~ a few years back got sued for not telling the men the person they were vying for was actually a transsexual and not a genetic female. There is no way these guys didn't know Jazz was sitting in the dark there.
I read on Wikipedia, I think it was, one of the contestants even punched out a producer on the show 'There's Something about Miriam', when he learned the truth. They did sue, though, so there is no way Jazz is luring these 'boys' (that actually look like they were at least 19 or 20, and not high school boys) into a 'dating experience.'

I caught up with a few episodes for this new season, and it seems to me that Noelle is jealous of Jazz.

Wow, what a small world. I guess Jazz is glad she is doing virtual school.
