《流浪神差》是改編自漫畫家 安達渡嘉所著漫畫的動畫畫作品，故事描述身為神明卻因性格而被孤立的主角，為了賺取些微的香火錢而接受來自各地的委託。
穿著一身全黑體育服且沒有神社所供奉、缺少香火的落魄神明 夜斗，為了有朝一日能建立起自己的神社，他在各地的廁所牆壁上寫上自己的手機號碼並以五塊錢的香油錢為代價幫人實現願望；壹岐日和 是位捲入了車禍後常常靈魂出竅的少女，為了恢復原來的樣子而開始和夜斗一起行動，最後再加上 夜斗 使用的神器所化身的少男 雪音，三人開始展開與妖的對戰。
