Also, unrelated, but I miss some of the people from Annville. Emily was a fav of mine and to just blow her up along with her kids seemed rather unkind. Yeah assface seems a bit misplaced, not sure what the arq is there. He does seem to be hardening.

Besides the names almost nothing on the show is like the comics. You can compare it to Bayformers. They steal the names and some characteristics but it is mostly just random similarities.
