There dragging this out tooo much...."the Work" should have been finished several episodes ago [ or as the cliff-hanger for end of last season.

this is the trouble with a continuing story line from one season to another, cliffhangers are great but, if a show doesn't get re-newed we the viewer have lost out. its a bit like the old '24' being cut halfway through a season

So are they going to try to wrap it up this season? Or is there too much story left to tell (I haven't read the books so I'm not familiar with how much actual story is remaining) in which case they'll try to get someone else to take on the show?

I would of thought they will shop it around just like with Dark Matter

I think shows like this are made months ago then the FX are put in, so hoping for any changes to the season because of cancellation are slim

in-fact the critical pivot in the plot that could elevate this from 'goodest' to 'greatest'- hasn't even happened yet!!!!!!

Cut out all the awesome [but expensive ] battle scenes ?

exactly.

which is why if its a single story told over a number of books [i've not read them] being told on TV over a few seasons and the producers have no idea if it will be getting another season there needs to be some sense of ending between each season

[not sure if that makes complete sense :-)
