last night i saw yet another hilarious spoof of "to serve man" in naked gun 2, i'm pretty sure that is the most spoofed twilight zone episode along with "time enough at last", because of that i kind of think of it as a light funny ending, but if you saw that episode for the first time and not aware of all the spoofs, could that perhaps be the most horrific ending of the series episodes. what made the naked gun bit even more fun and twilight zone like was that my country had translated in subtitles "its a good book! a good book!", thereby didn't even give away the end.

Definitely the one with the little boy Anthony, who had unlimited power and a child's temper. I forgot the title, but anyway, everyone around Anthony coddled him out of fear. In the ep, this one guy got mad at Anthony and talked badly to him, pissing him off.
SPOILER
Anthony turned him into a jack-in-the-box and at the ep's end, you see the guy's head, I think, on a spring sticking up out of the box. Kind of disturbing.

that episode's title is "its a good life", quite a coincidence i just replied to a post about that very episode, it might interest you to know that its also available as a remake in the 1983 twilight zone movie and also as a twilight zone radio drama. just remember not to say, or even think, anything badly about anthony...

Thanks for the heads up on the title. I've actually seen the '83 film and enjoyed it numerous times. I'd say my favorite between the two versions of the ep is the original one. Something about the fate of that one guy and how they visualized it was truly shocking.

One of the most shocking endings was the fifth season episode Men In Leather Jackets.

@PeterBlues
I worked at the Los Angeles County Jail during the 1992 riots and lived to talk about it! Anthony doesn't scare me!
