Discuss Mercy Street

Anyone else sad about this? It was getting more and more interesting and engaging. I wish some other entity would pick it up. Hello, Netflix!

Actually, I'm not sad about it. The writers and producers of this show took a real family and real people and were going to rewrite this family's history and assassinated Benjamin Frank Stringfellow's character by depicting him killing a Union officer in his bed which did not happen. If the writers and producers wanted depict the Confederacy the way they did then they should have created fictional characters instead of trying to rewrite a real family's history.
