Why bring Charlotte's consciousness back? Why would Delores trust her?

@Invidia The theory of people having gone extinct is very interesting. I'm pretty sure that's what we're building up to, especially given the after-credits scene with William (MIB) and his daughter.

I've actually thought again about Charlotte and how Delores rewrote Bernard's code so he wouldn't be suicidal. The answer here is probably as simple as Delores rewriting Charlotte's code and making her more subservient to her. lol.

As far as the 'humans being extinct' part, I'm not sure we're there yet when Bernard wakes up at his old home. I think it's more when William finds he's been tested over and over again. Even then, I think there are still humans around.

You think Bernard is a cyborg? Wait... how? I'm not so sure about that, because of all the failed copies that were made of him. They were full hosts. He's the newest iteration. Are you saying as far as replicating a human's consciousness into a living host? Okay, now I get it.
