Just starting season one now (I know... behind the curve) and am thrilled at the music choices! "Black Hole Sun" as a player piano piece! "Paint It Black" with full big time western movie orchestration! Can't wait to hear what other anachronistic chestnuts they come up with!
I did not watch when aired because, well, I saw the movie when it came out! I know, these TV shows re-imagine the entire idea but still... to me it was another remake. Even if they, as in HBO, did "The Exorcist" as TV show I'd... oh wait...

It really doesn’t have much in common with the film beyond the very basic premise. It’s far more in the tradition of a movie like Blade Runner, a robots-as-oppressed-slaves story.
