It is, but people have no taste. They don't like to think when being entertained...they want explosions and blood.
Not necessarily. I for one started to watch it, but too much violence and nudity. So I stopped watching it. I mean watching Delores get raped every other day was not for me.

Not all people. I love non-linear storytelling as much as the next non-intellectually challenged person but this season was so convoluted at times it was hard to discern not only when something was happening but to whom or even if it had happened. Sure, I put the pieces together but not many would or could. This no doubt contributed to the drop in ratings.
Being clever is all fine and good but you, the writer\creator, have to also keep in mind the TV world is not "Pulp Fiction". As a writer you have to ground the scenario somewhere. This season did not until the very last moments when we learn (or_ think we learn_ cause this could all be in Bernard's cluster**ked mind) three Hosts are now in "our world". This means the show could become a version of the BBC's "Humans"! I doubt that; as that well written executed show is probably too "plebeian" for the high minded folks running "Westworld". No, we'll get more non-linear mixed up episodes where we are not sure what is going on but are certain we like it because we do not know what is going on. Means we are "smart".
Don't let the skewed ratings on this website fool you. It is full of either 1s or 10s mouth breather voters. The main reason Netflix got rid of their rating system. But one thing I do miss from IMDB was the transparency in the voting stats. I wish they had that here.

This show is a 9.5 easy just for the Radiohead sequences.

I seem to remember many people hating on the first half of the season and the ones that enjoyed the first half, hated the second half.
It is one of the best looking TV shows ever made.

Too many dunderheads will always push TEN or ONE when asked to rate something. It throws the scale off.
