I knew the new guy was going to be a psycho from the start. These shows can never bring in a new character who isn't either evil or a moron.

He seemed so nice in the way he was helping her. I just assumed it was a slow seduction. He may still be interested in a quick conquest, but a long-term relationship seems off the table based on his other agenda.

Since they aren't following the books, I don't know what they're planning for Sebastian. I liked the direction I thought they were going with Seb and Izzy, but then Seb had to go and ask Clary out.

I still hope for a Maia, Simon, Izzy triangle.

I'm not gonna lie but from the very first ep I liked the idea of Izzy and Simon together.

isn't Sebastian Clarys brother.. Clary doesn't know that but Sebastian (Jonathan) does..so not sure what he was thinking.

further to this as soon as Sebastian was brought into the picture I had a feeling he was Clarys brother..but then was confused when his "aunt" came in the picture..but then we saw that he only took Sebastians form and wasn't really him... so I was right.

I think that was a "nod" to the book possibly since Jonathan showed interest in Clary at one point and kissed her.

I forgot that Jonathan impersonated Sebastian so I was a bit confused when I saw Aline.

I'm assuming that Jonathan impersonated Sebastian right from the first time we saw him..also since considering he was "missing" from his family..that could be cuz Jonathan had him. Or the real Sebastian is the one that helped Izzy and kissed clary..but I don't think so since he seemed kinda fishy when he was helping izzy.

I like the actor. Too bad Sebastian is dead. Don't see any hope for the actor hanging around.

Yeah, I don't know how that would work. Jonathan's walking around with someone else's face that he impersonated then killed. There's no redemption arc that let's him stick around.

Valentin has managed to still be here so maybe the same is true for Jonathan.

lol...why did he kiss her...he KNOWS she's his sister..is it just to throw her off track? or he's just into the insest? lol

That was weird. He can tell she is something of a straight arrow and he seems to want to be closer to her so why would he try to kiss her like that?

I think he's just naturally drawn to her and he doesn't care that it's incest.
