随着科技的发展，人类发明了能侦察人的脑电波的“聪明”的机器人――“先知”。“先知”能侦察出人的犯罪企图，所以在罪犯犯罪之前，就已经被犯罪预防组织的警察逮捕并获刑。
该剧延续02年同名电影的故事。三位先知在犯罪预防计划废除之后隐世居住在一个小岛，不料一天双胞胎Arthur莫名失踪，弟弟Dash为寻找兄长，只能重回现代社会找寻他的下落，却不断受到预见未来的干扰。但缺少兄长，Dash的能力并不完整，预视中的谋杀总是来不及阻止，直到他遇到女警探Vega...

The three 'pre-cog', Dash, Arthur and Agatha, have been living in seclusion during this time. When Dash returns to society and tries to prevent crimes from happening, he finds it difficult. He teams up with Detective Lara Vega and tries to recruit his twin brother, Arthur, to help with names and addresses. In the meantime, Agatha is concerned that the two young men are being risky and they may cause all three of them to being imprisoned and used for predictions again.
