Just watched it and loved it! The musical theatre nerd in me enjoyed the musical scenes - way over the top but not annoying. West Covina reminded me of How Does She Know from Enchanted.
Will definitely continue to watch first season - hope it's that entertaining til the end!

I hate musicals, but really enjoyed the first season. She's so cute. I'll pick up on season two when I finish up a few other shows.

How can anyone hate musicals and like this show? Nevertheless, I think you will enjoy season 2 as much as Season 1. It starts a little rough but builds to an amazing conclusion that perfectly sets up Season 3.

The trailer didn't sell this to me (hated the song in it); so I avoided it. I've recently revisited my decision (up to the 4th episode) and I'm really enjoying it. The songs aren't as good as those on "Galavant", but they're much better than the trailer suggested.
