Discuss 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown

I'd like to understand the convention for Episode Titles. I checked the Bible, but didn't see anything specific for Panel shows. Most of the episodes for this show are named with the names of the guests (which is nice), but some (e.g. Season 7) are just named "Episode 1", "Episode 2", etc. but Channel 4 doesn't actually have titles for any of these episodes listed on their site.

I had thought to change Season 7 to match everything else, but there seems to have been some back-and-forth with a lot of these episodes without any discussion on this board, so I'm missing the context for what's 'right'.

Are Panel Shows "special" for Episode Title naming? Is the current setup of having guest names for all episodes except Season 7 (and the last of Season 6) the "right" way? What's our source of truth on that?

You are right there are no special guidelines for panel shows. The same guidelines are use for all show: TMDb use the official title given by the network. So if Channel 4 only uses Episode 1, Episode 2, etc. that's what we shall use too.
