Morran och sonen Tobias är två människor som befinner sig i samhällets utkant. I 34 år har torp 9:4 varit deras hem och trygghet, men nu är fastigheten exproprierad av Trosa kommun och står gapande tom. När vi träffar Morran och Tobias igen har de sålt en liten bit land till kommunen och fått möjligheten att flytta tillbaka under en månads tid. Det är många känslor som rivs upp när bohaget ska packas upp och mötet med det gamla livet i huset. Ändå möter vi en gripande värme och kärlek hos dessa två ovanliga som har valt att överleva. Morran and her son Tobias is two people at the fringes of society. For 34 years, croft 9: 4 had been their home and security, but now the property expropriated by the municipality of Trosa and stands gaping empty.
