Thanks! But fortunately that's not necessary. We know the anime is organized incorrectly and will be going to a single-season organization as soon as we can. It's been approved, but because the site is undergoing some larger changes right now, it hasn't been implemented yet. So for now things will stay where they are and hopefully before long everything will be properly in one season.

All series that are single season (which is nearly all of them) will be changed to such organization on this site. That'll include all the Dragon Ball series. As you know, very few anime actually have seasons in the Western television sense, and episodes are aired continuously until the series ends. Sequels are regarded within the industry as new series. So hopefully we'll soon get things changed here to reflect industry standards. Right now most of the data was imported from other sources that created their own organizational schemes based on a variety of criteria (including, as you said, story arcs). It will be a slow process because every series has to be checked to make sure the existing episodes are correct beforehand. I have no estimated time when this will be done, but soon hopefully!
