There is no indication on the official website (http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/dragon_s/episode/list/) that this series is broken into seasons. I think you're looking at story arcs, not seasons. We'll look into this further but this record may need to be re-organized. Can you provide where you got the season data from?
Yeah, there's a lot of bad info floating around out there, even on Wikipedia. Those sites you linked just pull info directly from other sites. They don't fact-check anything and they have no knowledge of anime at all.
None of the Dragon Ball series (and in fact, very few anime) have seasons. Episodes run continually until the series ends. If the story is continued, a new series begins with a new name (like the many Dragon Ball anime series, which are all based on just one manga). Sometimes Japanese DVDs are marketed by story arcs, and foreign fans turn those into seasons. And sometimes in the USA or other countries the DVDs will actually be called "seasons", but they really aren't and they don't match the Japanese "seasons". If you look at specialized anime sites, like Anime News Network or AniDB, there are no seasons. We have a huge problem right now with records for some other series because of the fan-created seasons, because every site does it a little bit differently.
Right now I think we want to make sure all the episodes are present and in the right order with the right original air dates. The seasons will probably disappear, so right now it doesn't matter which episodes fall into which season. We just want to avoid duplication and having the episodes not match up between the different translations. :)
ok, thanks for the information i learned a lot :), in this case ("... it doesn't matter which episodes fall into which season...") i will proceed the style of the name from the episodes like now
Well, I guess I should rephrase. There are many translations present. You need to make sure your English translation is for the same episode as the other languages. That's what part of the problem is in many series now. So it might be better to do nothing until we can get things sorted out and the seasons removed.
