Finally got caught up.

I guess S3E1 was their idea of shaking thing up.

The mini-preview for S3 that we got at the end of S2 gave the impression that it would be MORE business-as-usual. Yet, we come back, "The Team" is no more and folks have scattered-to-the-four-winds.

To "absurd and crazy", I'd want to add 'confusing'.

Confusing is right. I have to keep asking "How does Roman know all this stuff down to the exact time and location that events are going to happen months in advance and with enough time to put them in Jane's tatoos?"

For me that's not even the worst thing...

We are at the break--and I still don't have a clue about this. Does anyone know, or have any ideas/speculations/guesses as to how an on-the-run Roman got access to Jane--without her or any of them knowing it--in order to screw with her tatoos?

All of his knowing everything about everybody - everything that has happened - and everything that is happening = a lot more disbelief than I can suspend.

confused

Agree with all the above - but then the original concept was ridiculous and it is just spiralling out of control now. I keep having visions of Jane at seventy all those tattoos spiralling in ever decreasing wrinkly circles ...ugggghhh !!!

And this week we had an unguarded warehouse in the middle of a city (New York I think) with nuclear warheads stored in it. Seriously? Can't the writers do better than that?

After the most recent episode I'm not even going to try to understand the plots anymore. I'm just going to keep watching to see Jane kick bad guy butt.

That's one of the main reasons I watch. relaxed

I like watching Jane kick butt, in stories that absolutely define "plot holes" try one's patience.

The acting, particularly Kurt, is so bad though. And my own pet problem of his inability to shave.

It just gets more ridiculous. What is Roman doing? Last night he WANTED the FBI to stop the EMP attack but instead of sending a video where he just TELLS THEM WHO TO CONTACT AND WHAT THE TARGET IS he sends a video with a puzzle that matches Jane's tattoos. The tats get them to contact a guy that is involved but doesn't know what the actual target is and the FBI spends the rest of the episode trying to figure it out and are able to stop the EMP JUST in the nick of time to complete Roman's master plan.

This show is really lucky that Jane is hot.
