So, what makes her annoying? In my opinion, the writers did a pretty good job with her character because they portray her like they would any other person on the show. She's not there just to represent an LGBTQ moment.

She just gets on my nerves. Not to insult anybody but I’d prefer a more attractive woman in the role with a less annoying personality

Exactly, I've noticed all shows nowadays have to follow a certain criteria:

• at least one black actor or character (J'onn, Jimmy, Kelly)
• at least one LGBTQ actor or character (Alex, Nia)
• someone coming from nothing and preserving (Jimmy)
• a disgruntled rich person (Lex and Lena)
• Self-righteous person who feels they have to be responsible to save everyone (Kara)

It's excruciating to watch shows like this.

It's only problematic when the writing is bad and people are just there to be the token characters representing their particular group.

the writing is bad. I enjoyed this last episode more because she wasn’t in it. Almost every scene is total cringe in this show

Don't forget they have to have a Cis Caucasian character as well. Every show seems to require it. So woke! 😅
