So, I made a command decision over the summer not to give any more time to Supergirl, but I heard some people yapping about how good it was, so I rescinded my command decision and watched Season 3. The writing and acting this season is so much better than Season 2. Having CATCO as the main setting gives the show that family feeling that I missed in Season 2. The writing is so good this season that I don't even like Maggie and Alex as a couple, but I felt bad when they broke up. I understood their emotions, and anybody who has been in a committed relationship can identify with their pain.

This is definitely the best season so far. Especially the last couple episodes.

This season is comparable to Season 1. I'm enjoying it very much. Last season, I really almost stopped watching. They brought me to a point where seeing Mon-El made me feel ill.
Of course, this week he returns, but he's not the same Mon-El that left seven months ago. I'm cool with him now. That being said, there is no way that after seven years away--to him--and establishing a new life and getting married that they would even think about ripping him away from that and getting back together with Kara.
Right?!?!

Unfortunately I think the Karamel nonsense is going to come back full steam and once again hijack and devolve the show to nothing.
It already monopolized the last episode. Especially considering he seems to be remote right now, there will be that much more of a focus on her part to bring him back so they can be reunited. It's obvious by how she's acting that that's all she's interested in now.
I think this Karamel nonsense is going to doom this season already.

If they get back together, I will stop watching. I dealt with it last season because I figured it had to end since it was so stupid. If they bring it back, forget it. I'll watch the annual crossover but that's it...if it's even still around.

I don't think they'll get back together because I'm thinking Mon-El has moved on to another woman. He was in the 31 Century for 7 years, and I doubt he'll have the same affection for Kara. I'm hoping he's not a mainstay on the show because his presence diminishes the show in my opinion. I had a hard time with Season 2, and I think it had to do with him.

I agree (and hope) completely. Last's year's mess had everything to do with him. I referred to it as National City 90210. When he ran into the DEO all giddy like some school kid announcing he and Kara were dating, I cringed and hoped that was not how the season was going to go. It got worse. Hopefully his marriage and living in the future does indeed keep Karamel dead and buried.

When Kara left him after giving that heartfelt speech, he was tearing. So apparently there are still feelings there. Unfortunately, there's no way they brought him back only to have him constantly rebuff her until she gives up. It's obviously going to be her continuing to pursue him until they're back together.
Then it's season 2, part 2. Ugh...

Well, at least Mon-El got the What-Business-Do-You-Have-Doing-Here? treatment last night at the DEO.

I honestly don't understand the Mon-El hate. It seems so random.

It started for me when Mon-El first appeared last season and it came apparent the rest of season was going to center around the angst between those two. I'll watch Nick Teens if I want that baloney.

They're also doing it with the marriage and gay nonsense. I don't want teen melodrama. There are ENDLESS shows that feature this already!
It would have been nicer if they stuck to a more superhero-themed approach, instead of tween crap like the Vampire Diaries with a little Supergirl sprinkled around here and there.

I totally agree. And yet, I watch. But of Kara and Mon-El get back together, I am done with that show. I've done it before with other shows when they pull garbage.
