Discuss DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Victor Garber was reunited with his Titanic co-star, Billy Zane...which was foreshadowed with Stein's comments about the actual ship earlier in the episode. I was wondering if they would acknowledge the two in the same scene, but all I saw was Stein very subtlety looking at Barnum with a peculiar look the first time he saw him. Did anyone else see that? Was that on purpose?

Of course, bro! Or did you forget how Brandon Routh said about how Supergirl reminded him of his cousin grin

That was the best line of the crossover, but it was also blatantly obvious. The other night, the look was so subtle, I still wonder if it was meant to be an Easter egg, or if Stein would have looked like that no matter who it was. Barnum was acting a bit odd, for sure, worthy of an odd look from anyone.

I'm just wondering if I was looking too much into it because I was waiting for something.

I like the Easter eggs. Remember the Prison Break Easter egg?

I love the Easter eggs. Lucky for us, the producers do as well. They're fans just like us who know what we like and enjoy. I never saw Prison Break, but with Wentworth and Dominic on this show, there have to be a few. I just wish there was one when William Katt was the minister for the wedding at the beginning of the crossover...some kind of Greatest American Hero nod. Even a hint of the red magic jammies under his shirt would have been really cool.

(I guess you can quote your own post!) In that reference, Stein said the person who designed the Titanic should be shot. Months later, Stein gets shot and dies. Someone said this could have been a foreshadow of Stein getting a bullet later on. Is it possible the writers had that much foresight, or was it just a coincidence? Because the crossover was filmed early in season production, it was filmed roughly around the same time the circus episode was, so the situation could have indeed been fresh on the writers' minds.
