Discuss Emerald City

Is Dorothy a witch? My attention span has not been very good, and there seems to be so much going on that I'm not sure if she's a witch or not. She obviously has powers.

I was never clear on why Dorothy got East's powers after East killed herself, but I think with those powers she's considered a witch.

Thanks!

remember what Glinda says after all the witches the Emerald city guards shot stood up, "Guns can't kill witches, only witches can kill witches" which makes you wonder if Dorothy was the one that pulled the trigger (telepathically) which killed the Wicked witch of the EAST.

Not really, East killed herself.

true but still it was an accident and again, guns cannot kill witches, not unless another witch yields the gun (which i assume is what Glinda implies)
