I don't know if it's just me but .... sometimes I find the "background" music overpowers the dialogue. I was so annoyed this week - I just left the closed caption on. So. tell me ..... is it just me?
P.S. I have had my hearing checked and it is on par with my age.

I think it's just you. However, I currently have strange hearing challenges nowadays and do keep the closed captioning on myself, when I watch the show.

Thanks for the answer .... I don't want it to be just me though! It happens with American Horror Story too. I guess I don't filter noises too well.
Sorry about your hearing challenges! I hope it gets better.

I'm starting to fool around with the sound on the TV. It may be too "smart" for me.
We took it off of surround sound and I think it made some difference. I can only explain it that it is as if the music is in front of the dialogue.

Yes, you may also want to try switching the source of the media to stereo too (if youβre just using the TV speakers). I changed the audio settings on my cable box and Blu-Ray player too.

Thank you! WIll do. I'm watching American Horror Story now - it seems a little better.
Yes, just using the TV speakers - the TV is proving to be too smart!

I'm trying but I keep getting out paced! I did figure out how to scan and send papers in an e-mail ... from home. LOL Ok, ok, my daughter helped.

In a perfect world, I wouldn't. I dislike having to divide my attention between the images onscreen and the CC.

Closed Caption sucks! It's extremely slow and the image never lines up with the caption.
