How do you feel about the ambiguous deaths on this show? They've given 3 characters ambiguous deaths in Travis, Chris and Daniel. They already used their ambiguity to bring Daniel back, which I'm happy about. However, I'm not sure if this is a tactic they should use very often. It could get stale.
Ultimately even though Travis's death was ambiguous I think he is gone for good. Cliff Curtis has a lead role in the next 4 Avatar sequels. Because of that I don't think he'll have time to return. Chris though I feel like could still pop up again at some point. We never actually saw him die. We just saw those guys who he ran off with story of what happened.

I didn't really think there was anything ambiguous about Travis' death. He was shot through the gut and jumped out of a helicopter.
But if you watch Talking Dead, the writers have consistently told when a character is really "dead" or not.
From the time of last year's mid-season finale, they said Daniel is alive and will be back at some point.
And after Chris died, they said he's dead and won't be back. Same with Travis.
