Are the zombies still not scary?

I want to get into this show but I just cannot unless the zombies get scarier or there is a evil bad guy like in The Walking Dead.

But that hardly ever happens onscreen. I need to see a zombie grab hold of some character and take huge bite out of them out rip them apart like what happened to Noah in The Walking Dead.

Hey now we have people who shoot helicopters out of the sky now who needs scary zombies on a show about fearing the walking dead.

I think dawn of the dead remake did it the best and twenty days later.
