Discuss Fear the Walking Dead

I'm at season 2 episode 7 but it's boring as hell. nothing like the walking dead.

For those who've watched it already, is it getting any better ?

Eh, a bit. If you're that far along, may as well keep going.

I think they dropped the ball with this show. I would have loved to see how the government and/or military reacted to the spread.

The season dragged at times, maybe for the most part. However, season 7 of "The Walking Dead" dragged too. In this regard, the two shows have been somewhat alike as of late.

Its no more boring than the last few seasons of Walking Dead tbh. Although it has better eye candy with Alicia, Ofelia and Luciana. heart_eyes

If you're referring to that image at the end with Nick and the skull design of blood on his face, that shit is bad as hell.

No, on contrary - it gets even more boring. Whole show is a big boredom with stupid and shallow characters and so stupid that I was actually cheering for zombies to eat them. I can't believe this boredom is still ongoing, while some really great TV shows are being canceled. This TV show is plain garbage, not even close to TWD, which also got too prolonged and transformed some cheap blockbuster, but at least it had some great seasons at first, unlike this dull show.

Indeed, since Madison and Nick bought it, a certain tension is missing from the show. Really, there are just too many characters in the group - people get added on regularly, and the folks who are already there mostly don't get developed. And as someone else here stated, the group follows Kumbaya-ing Morgan like a bunch of sheep.

Exactly. Another thing I didn't like about this TV show, director (or whoever is responsible for story) liked to kill characters left and right. And some of them die in a mysterious way and they didn't even show you what happened to them, like take Travis - one of the main character from the start. He gets killed in a mysterious way, like some unimportant random character. They don't even bother to show us how he got killed... In general, there's not much tense or interesting plot, especially after Madison's death. Literally nothing is happening. I don't know for others, but for me this TV show felt very low & cheaper version of TWD. It felt like some kid wrote the script.

You're right about the plot. The rub about Madison is, her presence alone created tension. You had to wonder: How does a 50-something mother survive and protect her kids during a zombie apocalypse? That kept the show interesting.
