Discuss Marvel's The Defenders

They really wanted to kill the momentum, didn't they? In the final underground battle where the defenders finally faced the remaining "hands" - it had such a great tension up to the point the "song" started... that almost made me laugh... terrible terrible terrible choice.

Came here to say the same thing, I would have expected some cool industrial beat like Blue Stahli or Orgy.

agreed. it was so out of place and took me out of the moment. i started looking around the room to see if i had accidentally turned something on.

You almost laughed?

As soon as I heard the music I giggled and looked at my boyfriend like "Are they serious with this shit?"

I like the song, it was just hella out of place and it was awkwardly placed.

But can we talk about the intro music into the show...boring and forgettable as hell. I was expecting some awesome theme music to get you pumped up for each episode. But...nope.

It really was bad, I have got use to bad music playing with Luke Cage but this is about the group and just did not fit.

I noticed that. Luke Cage walking down the street - hiphop music. Luke Cage riding the bus - hiphop music. Not once did I hear the harps of K'un-Lun or jazzy film noir tunes.
