yes. it contradicts the Army of Darkness comics, which had it as James after his grandfather.
sidenote: i heard it as "Jina" the first time. had to rewind and double check.

I watched it a few times and all I heard was Jina.

Watching it again with subtitles on it's 'Joanna'. And now I can make out the guy saying it, it's just that he says it so fast that the J'oa'nna part sounds like J'i'na.
