I liked it, it was a crap ton better than season 1. Replacing Scott Buck with Raven Metzner, getting Clayton Barber, the fight choreographer from Black Panther, cutting it to 10 episodes helped, also since I was able to watch all of it in 8 1/2 hours I'm assuming they're not 1 hour episodes. Also what helped was that the focus was less on Danny Rand but more toward Misty Knight and Colleen Wing. A sort of Daughters of the Dragon season 1 (with a couple of episodes were mostly with only them two). They're a lot more fun to watch together anyway (or read about since the pair have pretty much taken over the Heroes for Hire comics since their introduction). Still had some "surprises" at the end, well more like WTF moments, and Alice Eve was excellent as Typhoid Mary. I'm now hoping to see an actual Daughters of the Dragon series.

Better than Season 1? Yes. Good? No.

Much of this season was really boring, a lot of people standing around in rooms talking. I didn't really care about the turf war between the Asian gangs. Joy just stands around in her apartment wearing black all the time. Didn't really care about Ward. The actor playing Davos is not a good actor. Alice Eve, who is about 110 pounds soaking wet, beating up Iron Fist and Davos was laughable.

And worst of all, the fights weren't anything special. And to paraphrase Oprah, "YOU get an Iron Fist and YOU get an Iron Fist and YOU get an Iron Fist!" Maybe my standards are just too high, but blame Daredevil and Punisher for that.

Yes, it was better than Season 1 in all aspects, yet still failed to deliver. Guess Season 1 was so shitty that anything they did differently would have been better anyways LOL. Main issues with Season 2: 1) Davos as a villain? ROFLMAO. A Baby faced villain with Mommy issues what a GREAT IDEA. Goddamnit

2) All the side subplots like with the Meechams and especially Ward, fuck off dude! Go knock-up your sponsor some more. Yeeesh.

3) Fighting choreography. I didn't feel anything. At its best, it felt like Karate Dojo school kids fighting it out in the backyard. It is sad, sad, pathetic excuse for a show based around Martial Arts. Like, seriously. Can this be any more light years behind Daredevil?

4) Pacing, pacing, pacing!!! This show lacked momentum from the get go. What should have been like a super high-speed train gaining momentum every episode rushing towards an explosive finale felt like a summer cruise ship stopping at every island to soak in the "Ambience". Terrible, just fucking terrible.

To be fair, though she has never been an Iron Fist in the comics up to this point, she did gain chi powers, enhanced strength accelerated healing high resistance to injury, along with mastery of K'un-Lun martial arts from a mind meld with Danny Rand. This occurred in Iron Fist Vol 1 #5 June, 1976 before any sjw/me2 movement. Her new powers on the show is kind of just an expansion to that.

Well ok, it just seems like everyone gets powers. It's sort of the reason why I think The Flash is suffering because everybody has powers now, it kind of takes away from the main character if everyone else has the same glowy fist power he has just slightly less powerful.

I'm really not impressed with the 2nd season either.

I think someone else should have played the Iron Fist.

Ward and Joy really bring nothing to the story other than sibling rivalry--which should have ended last season. Joy is just bland.

I will say Misty and Colleen are pretty bad ass...…..

The problem is that Finn Jones somehow has in his contract that he doesn't wear a mask for more than one episode for some reason. This has been apparent since season 1, cause Scott Buck is the idiot that made that deal with the maskless stipulation when hiring him as he couldn't figure out the easiest way to get the best fight scenes out of Finn Jones is to replace him with a stunt person in a fucking mask. I guess the new show runner is also prevented from giving Finn Jones a mask as well because of the original deal with Finn Jones. Someone has to renegotiate this stat before season 3. Because of this I was glad that they gave the focus to Colleen Wing and Misty Knight this season cause I couldn't stand a full season of watching Finn Jones fight badly anymore. It was the saving grace for season 2. Ever notice, Finn Jones's best fight scenes in Season 1 (the Chinese New Years parade fight) and Season 2 (the fight with Davos at K'un-Lun) where the episodes they put him in a mask. Well, no shit.
