Because that is what it feels like, Danny Rand has these things in common with Tony Stark: -Both Parents were killed when he was young -He comes from wealth -He has to take his company and wealth back from people he trusts -He has special abilities, Danny is a Martial Arts master whereas Tony Stark is highly intelligent. -Both have Iron in the title, instead of having an iron suit, Danny has an iron fist that he uses through his Chi. -Both are a part of a group of highly trained and skilled individuals, Stark is in the Avengers and Danny is in the Defenders, even those names sound the same.

So is Danny Rand just a water downed version of Stark, just a more douchier version made for TV?
