Just started watching this show and thoroughly enjoying it. I had a question about Daredevil's hearing, and whether it is acute as it has been depicted on the show versus the comics? Seems to me, they've exaggerated his hearing. For example, hearing and isolating a voice from across town? Seems like a stretch. Has his hearing been as sharp in the comic as well? Thanks.

Yes, DD's hearing is supposed to be that powerful in the comicbook. All he really has to do is listen and concentrate, and he can focus on sounds from far away, like what you said. I guess it depends on how far across town the voice is, though.

His hearing was one of the things bothering me most about this show, it was so over-powered that it basicly functioned as well as normal people's eyes. He was never hindered by his blindness, sometimes it was almost as the writers forgot he was blind.

That's the point, he's never hindered by his blindness.

Right, also in the comicbooks, he has a "radar sense," kinda like bats do. I don't recall if that's the case in the show, which I miss now.
