In my still-new experience here at TMDb, I've found that ratings and reviews tend to be a smidgen more, intellectual, than that-other-site-which -shall-not-be-named-but-killed-their-message-board. Which is to say, TMDb people tend not to swoon over a big loud movie that is shallow in substance, and are seemingly better capable of recognizing movie genius in movies that were made before the reviewer was born, or movies that were before technicolor, or movies that don't have a big twist reveal ending, or movies that are driven not by explosions and special effects but by crazy things like dialog, character arcs, plot, stuff like that.
This show, however, has turned the tables a little bit.
While the rating here for this show still flies rather south of the rating there (yet is still too high, in my humble opinion), the reviews there reflect my disdain for this show while, here at TMDb, the few discussions seem...positive, which baffles me.
The reasons for my disdain? Don't worry about it. Those of you who are enjoying it, knock yourselves out, have fun. Clearly, you've got plenty of company here, far be it from me to attempt to rain on your parade.

Well, I've got to say, I stand corrected. There is some redeeming quality to it. Some.
Enough to
