Watching new episodes feels like watching reruns as they recycle the same plots.
The restaurant owner keeps getting new boyfriends.
People popping up with mystery medical conditions for Sam to solve.
George is constantly repainting or repairing the house... Is he so bored he is breaking things in order to fix them?

They should either come up with something new or just cancel this show. I am sick of the same old crap every episode. This time Martha discovers an entry in an old diary about a lost Halloween bonfire tradition. My favorite episode was the Christmas special they did back in 2010. They've never done anything Christmas related since. It's always Halloween like Halloween is the biggest day of the year. That bring me to another point about this show. It's just way too pagan.

Sounds like GW could benefit from the writers of JAG coming aboard

A show about a witch is too pagan? Who'd have guessed?

Not to mention that all holidays are pagan and were just co-opted by Catholic occupying forces.

Christmas isn't a pagan holiday. It just has a lot of pagan traditions. Whereas Halloween is purely a pagan holiday originating as Samhain. The word "witch" is also a pagan word especially when used in this context since Cassie possesses no magic. She's just intuitive or something and has a mysterious way about being able to help people (which is what attracted me to this show). She doesn't cast spells or bewitch people or any of the things that people usually associate with witches. This show also has an all white cast and most pagans are white due to paganism originating in Europe giving this show even more of a pagan feel.
So you can see why this show comes across to me as very pagan. That's fine to me but I think at least a little acknowledgement to Christmas would be nice. Christianity while far from perfect is still one of the best things to ever happen to the West. Plus Hallmark Channel is known for celebrating Christmas so it feels strange that it is entirely missing from this show.

The "Good Witch (2015-)" premiered as a mid-season show (January-May). The later seasons started to be broadcast later (April-August), and could be considered as a summer replacement.
Each season also had a Halloween Special in October.
There was a Christmas movie, "The Good Witch's Gift (2010)", but that was before the television show.
It is part of the "Good Witch" movie series. After the seventh, a television series was produced.
Hallmark has there own series of Christmas movies and I don't expect them to also produce an extra movie or episode for the "Good Witch" with that theme.
Of course, if they wanted to, they could mention buying early Christmas presents or some magical creature living in the trees, that are being chopped down for the Holidays.

Arbor is the tree holiday. Or the winter solstice. Or a Sadie Hawkins dance. Something other than the usual sitcom holiday special
