I posted to the IMDB board about this one. Just checking in, anyone else who wandered in can check in too, so we can get an idea of where everybody's at.

Howdy fellow Alaskan Bush People IMDB forum friends You might recognize my name from over there as well. Looks like a good site, and the Admin is making daily improvements.
I plan on migrating back and forth from this site to the Previously TV forums. Both seem like great places. Hope to catch you all one way or the other.

I don't think there are enough to keep both boards interesting. Whichever one is deemed more conducive to having fun with the series is the best one. I have no real preference, if there is a consensus, somebody please post. I haven't joined that one yet, joined two others, don't really have the time to keep checking them all. Maybe a post on IMDB before the countdown finishes as to where most people want to go?

I'm not sure if we'll know for certain Cobram until IMDB wraps it up for good. I'm bookmarking all the links that sound good, and will monitor them to see where the activity is at. If you click on the hyper-link that I provided above, there's a lot more activity at the Previously tv forum. I actually like this site better, as long as they don't crack down too hard on the type of spirited fun that we were able to have over at IMDB. I'll probably jump back and forth between the two myself.

Agree with wanton, there's a lot more activity on Previously TV. On this show, at least. And there are several former IMDBers over there as well.

Hi rmontro, good to hear from you. Though we occasionally run into each other over at previously.tv in the Alaskan Bush People forum, this is the first time that I have been to this site in many months, and only knew that you posted because I received an email notification.
I actually like this forum, and in the beginning, thought that it would be my primary replacement for IMDB. But alas, the activity is just not here. At least not for the shows that I’m interested in. I spend most of my time these days at Moviechat and Previously.tv. I just checked the Alaskan Bush People forum at Moviechat, and the last post was a year ago.
Little house on the prairie was my main stomping grounds back at IMDB, and the only site that I have found that has decent little house activity, is Previously.tv.

I have pretty much lost all hopes of getting even a semblance of what we had on IMDB boards. F$#@ Besos and Amazon for killing that, it was the historical record and the only place where you could get decent analysis and robust conversation and insight into many a great film. The pre-pubescents never should have been allowed on, they became the product, screw the rest of us.
But I rant, I will look into the two boards you mentioned. I find myself watching an old film noir or whatever and wishing the old IMDB board was still around.

I was about to reply the same Cobram. The community has been scattered, and spread to the 4 corners of the globe, so there is no one common meeting ground for the most part, as there was with IMDB. I don’t think we will ever recover from it, and have what we had at IMDB, and this is sad to me.
Previously.tv is a pretty good site.
Moviechat is okay I suppose. The Administrator started off in earnest, but soon lost interest in the site, so the site lacks all but the most basic features. You can’t change your password, so choose wisely, and the block feature, should you need it, is terrible, and not even worth bothering with. Still, there is a fair amount of activity over there.

I'm still angry at IMDB for closing down their forums, I pretty much refuse to use their site now just out of spite. Previously TV is pretty good, but it's a lot better for TV shows than movies (not surprisingly). Only the big blockbusters get much discussion. I haven't tried Moviechat, I will check it out. I do like this site also, although it could use more traffic. I've been using it as an alternative.
