关东多地开始发生怪异现象，推测是由无明领域中扩散出的金属离子所造成。无明领域还在持续扩大，赤司依然行踪不明。剩下的岩户等人，被称作“神隐之子”，他们都是十年前从无明领域中平安生还的奇迹儿童。1X召集他们的原因渐渐明朗，真亚梦为了实现艾米露的愿望，决心搭乘二号机“SABLE”。

While the Lightless Realm continues to expand, the whereabouts of Akashi Saginuma remain unknown. Iwato and the other students left behind find out that they are known as the “children spirited away”. As the reasons why they were gathered together become more apparent, Mahmu decides to pilot Sable, the second machine, in order to grant Emiru's wishes.
