I've read a lot about this theory online,and the points made are astounding.I think it's VERY possible is future Barry.But doesn't Barry meet himself in the future?I haven't seen that episode yet,but he doesn't LOOK like he's Savitar.

But it's an entirely PLAUSIBLE theory.

I think it would be a nice twist if it does happen. I've heard some speculating Julian or H.R. but they would be too obvious especially since those characters are kind of disposable to make fall guys. It will be more mind boggling for it to be Barry and I hope it is.

Future Barry being Savitar would be outstanding!

One reason I think it could be H.R., though, is Savitar and H.R. are the only two people to call Wally "Wallace." These writers are very clever with stuff like that, so it has to mean something. It could also be a red herring, so who knows?

Probably, in this telling. The hints are real. Maybe they'll do something super dramatic in which Barry kills himself to prevent Savitar's existence... and then the time line metaphysically punches itself until time remnant Savitar reverts to present day Barry Allen before everyone's eyes and goes into another coma, because... how else do you cliff hang until the next season?

No, but seriously, it's probably Barry and Savitar is probably going to succeed in killing Iris to both complete the time loop and spite his hated past self. On the other hand, he may only APPEAR to kill her, with it being later revealed that the Iris Savitar attacks in the future is in fact a decoy. Who knows? Comics adaptations.

If Iris dies, Barry will go back in time and stop his season 2 self from preventing the murder of his mom. Season 3 is erased from existence Iris is alive and Savitar doesn't exist. Well that was easy.

So I guess in the fourth season, that time monster will be after him. I think Barry has one more time to mess up the past again, he's been giving plenty of warnings, the speed force don't play, lol.

Yeah, I think it's basically impossible that it's anyone on Team Flash at this point since we've seen them all in the future after he's locked away. Unless Iris is Savitar and it was all a trick but there's no way that happens.

Awesome theory, that I would respect. I'm not sure anything else will be as good.

At this point I think anything is on the table. My daughter half-jokingly said it could be Kara Danvers. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

Savatar actually spoils it himself.... in previous comments he's made. I am the future Flash he says...word for word. It's just that he words it funny to avoid saying it outright but it is Barry. How this all loops around is the bigger question.

I think this ties back to flashpoint. I think future Barry realizes that the only way to make present day Barry fix flashpoint is to kill Iris.... forcing Barry to go back in time again. Future Barry doesn't have his speed (hence the suit) otherwise future Barry would fix flashpoint himself? Total guess tho

I've seen that theory mentioned in a few places. It's possible. But what made future Barry become so evil? Zoom was ruthless and evil to the bone, but he didn't look like he was completely enjoying it all the time. He was seduced by pure revenge. At times it almost looked like they could reason with him. But when future Barry crawled out of the suit last night, not only did he look pure evil, but he looked to be thoroughly enjoying it. That could be because he was getting jazzed at that moment on finally revealing himself, but I think it's more than that. What happened to him to make him like that?

Another question is which Barry is this? Is it literally the future Barry past the 2024 Barry we saw last week, or was it the remnant Barry that was created at the end of Season 2 when he was fighting Zoom? He disappeared without explanation.
