It seems like every time Jim Gordon fights with a girl he either gets his butt kicked or struggles to overpower her. But sometimes he kicks guys butts easy. Also, why do the writers make people act so stupid? Gordon knocked out Jeremiah's girlpal acolyte and left her lying on the floor after she had tried to knife him. He didn't cuff her or tie her up. He turned his back to her. What cop is that stupid?

Earlier Alfred heard a noise at the mansion, pulled his pistol, and went into the next room to investigate. He opened the door and crept inside without checking behind the door. Alfred was a British soldier with hand to hand training. He would have been trained in room clearing. How could he fail to check behind the door as he entered the room? Writers make these guys act so stupid it isn't worthy of belief.
