I know the comics well and they've had some really crazy stuff over the years but this show has been very quirky but workable in a relatable context - I'm not sure these licenses fall within that purview.

I think the licenses were an incredibly bad idea... My interest level has plummeted with those; I hope they eliminate them soon or else this series will be eliminated from my TV viewing list.
That has been the least interesting thing to me so far. I enjoyed Professor Pyg this last episode though. I thought it would be another lackluster episode, but I did like it more than I thought I would. It's starting to get hit or miss, like a few weeks ago with those beatbox dudes. That stuff had me scratching my head.

I have always felt that each season has roughly 3-6 head scratching episodes that remind viewers its a comic book show and its meant to be corny (sometimes awkwardly corny) at moments that make us yell at the characters. Its what is so much fun about the fourth wall and how it usually (deadpool) isnt broken. We see all the cheese. The characters can not and its their normalcy.

The Penguin's licenses is making it a bit hard to swallow (Even for Gotham) for me!

It's not the craziest thing that has been on this show. And it's no where near as crazy as the stuff in the comics.

I think the licenses are being used to create the rift and divide between gordon and Harvey
