It’s really taking shape of The Saul transformation and the creating of the super Lab by Gus.

Seems Kim making her break too.

Additional thoughts?

agreed. from the previews for next week, looks like Jimmy finally uses the name Saul, for his new business. You could really tell Jimmy missed being an attorney, when he found out one of ladies died from the retirement home. Also,it does look like Kim will end up breaking it off with Jimmy.
What are the odds that the one guy, working on building the underground room, is taken out by Mike or Gus?

I wasn't that impressed with this episode. I've seen better from this show. I totally get that this is prequel to what transpired in Breaking Bad. This just seems to be moving at a snail's pace.

It's obvious that Kim and Jimmy are both set on taking opposite paths. Kim wants to help people and expand her career and Jimmy wants to be a con man. That will obviously be what drives them apart.

As far as Gus and Mike, it seems in this particular episode that they were at the forefront and Kim and Jimmy took a back seat.

All the fans of this show are clamoring for an appearance by Walt and Jesse and to know what happened to Kim. I think we may get the answer on Kim by the end of this season but I'm not so sure we'll get that appearance by Walt and Jesse. But I guess anything can happen.

Well, I loved the ending with Jimmy intimidating the punks who mugged him in last week's episode. Other than that, kind of a 'meh' episode imo. Him going at Howard was also a fun little segment.

Well you knew Jimmy would get his payback on those punks. That's what he does.

???

Odd hearing you say people want a Walt-Jesse appearance. I haven’t seen that anywhere but maybe not looking in right spots. I for one not expecting that at all. Doesn’t seem like that meshes well on how B.B. originally started. I recently watched B.B. AGAIN and It took some time or episodes before we got to the Gus. Saul is later part of S2 where I think the entire circle begins to form/close.

I’m enjoying each episode. The 3 story lines of Saul Kim Gus each has its purpose or angle.

It depends on how fast they get the lab made. if you could create a parallel time line, I think this would be about the time BB would be starting. Walt finding out he has cancer and starting to make blue. you could follow them until they intersected. I think there is a good chance that Walt makes a cameo for one show only
