Ok, it has been a bit since I watched an episode and have the final 2 of the season on my DVR. But I am confused: did Halstead and Lindsey break up or something? Almost seems like it ad I don't remember that happening...

In season 5 episode 17, something from Jay's past surfaces which leads to him making the decision to move to Will's place. Erin is upset about the whole situation but doesn't support his decision. Ring a bell?
It does, vaguely, but I can't remember exactly what it was. The show needs to let that drama go. Why can't these guys (in the Chicago Universe according to NBC) EVER have a happy home life, or at least an adequate one?
I agree, and they're always tormented one way or another. So, in this case it turns out Jay was married to a woman named Abby and he had failed to mention this to Erin. When she found out, he told her the whole marriage was a joke but in reality they were in love. Abby refused to sign the divorce papers and tried to latch on to Jay, he dismissed her, but felt he was conflicted about it and needed space from Erin.

Haha, agreed on the Total Drama City! See, Halstead was always a man about things, so why, after dismissing the old girl, does he not stay with Erin? Don't let her go man! She has enough problems, especially where I am in the series (just started season finale but had to stop).
Yup, greener pastures and all that. Actors are freelancers so I guess when it's not challenging enough anymore or maybe they're just bored, it's onwards and upwards!
I hope so, as I liked her in this, but I also hope they attempt something new for a few episodes and then bring her back. She was a great part of the cast, in my opinion (hot too!!!).
